A morning in the old city

A garden hotel in Bani Park, ten minutes from the old city.

Sandleaf House is a family-run hotel in Bani Park, a green and quiet part of Jaipur, ten minutes from the old city. It was a family home for fifty years before it became a hotel, and the garden, the courtyard and the big verandas are still at its heart. There are fourteen rooms on three floors, a pool in the garden and a restaurant on the roof. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with good beds, strong showers and windows that open. Most guests come to see the city. We help with that: a car for the day, a guide for the forts, a table on the roof when you get back. Some come to rest, and the garden is quiet enough for that too.

The roof looks west over the city. Ask for a table at sunset, and we will keep it for you.
A morning at a family print workshop, where you print your own scarf with their wooden blocks. We book it and send the car.
“A calm place to come back to after a long day in the old city. The pool at six in the evening was exactly what we needed.”
“They found us a driver for Amber Fort at an hour's notice, and a table on the roof when we got back. Kind, quick and never pushy.”
“We took the Family Room with two teenagers. Two rooms, one door between them, everyone slept well.”
